⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star Experience at Five Loaves Cafe! We stopped in for lunch and had another great experience! 🥗 I tried the kale salad with berries—very tasty and fresh. Big thanks to the staff for the referral! 🥩 I also had the roast beef in a spinach wrap, and it hit the spot. 🥪 My wife stuck with her favorites: the roast beast sandwich and the Mexican chicken chili soup—she gets them every time, so you know they’re consistently good! ⭐ Service is always excellent—friendly, quick, and on point. ❄️ One tip for my fellow cold-natured folks: bring a coat! It stays a little chilly inside, especially for us seasoned diners. 🍴 Great food + great people = always worth the visit!
I am gluten free and I was hesitant to get my hopes up but oh my gosh I have never had such an amazing gluten free experience. The waitress was so knowledgeable and kind. This was the first restaurant my husband I have been able to share plates since we have been married. Appetizers, dinner and drinks where amazing! Even he said you would never know it was all gluten free!!
Delicious meal. Chicken parmigiana was absolutely devine. Breaded chicken breast with fresh pasta. Chicken meatballs were amazing. Caesar salad was perfect. Tortellini was a nice touch. Homemade potato soup was great. Enjoyed the honeyberry sweet tea was refreshing. Not a fan of the corn bread. It had a bit of a barnyard flavor. Nonetheless, this place is a gem.
Absolutely amazing experience, the last time we went. My husband and I go here all the time and love it but this last time we went my food wasn’t as good as we remembered. The staff were so sweet and gave me a whole new meal and a dessert to compensate. Just the standard of how the staff handled the matter made it perfectly okay but the amount they did to make it right just made us sure of why we love this place. Thank you so much Lillie for being so sweet, we really appreciate you!
The food is great! Several vegan options. My wife, brother and I enjoyed a delightful dinner. My brother had the flounder and said it was very good I had the coconut pot (vegan) and loved it. My wife had the tofu dish and said it was excelent. We will make this a regular stop on our way to Charleston!
When we first moved to Summerville, my family and I fell in love with this adorable and delicious restaurant. My favorite is their turkey sandwich and the service is top-notch.
We loved our time here! The service was fantastic. The hostess and our waitress were amazing, speedy, and efficient! And the food was fantastic with large portions. Our server, Kaitlyn H, was so friendly and fun to talk to. I got the skillet brunch skillet made by chef Rhett Berry and it was AMAZING!!! My friends all loved their food as well so 10/10 would recommend.
Was looking for dinner place to spend our last night at. Read reviews and decided on "Five Loaves Cafe." The place is quaint, with a "homey" appeal. Once inside, was greeted warmly by the hostess - who in turn sat us at a great place in the restaurant to enjoy the ambiance. We were greeted promptly by our server Ashley who was cheerful and friendly! Since this was our first time at the establishment, she told us about the dishes on the menu that were popular, then gave us time to decide what we wanted to order to eat and drink. We started off with the drinks. We ordered the "Blueberry Lemon Drop" and the "Prickly Pear Margarita" which were quite tasty!Then the appetizer was the "Goat Cheese Gnocch" for and appetizer (which was to die for), then the Entrees - we ordered were the Braised Short Rib in a Red Wine reduction - over mashed potatoes with Asparagus! So good! and the "Shrimp Gnocchi, which was rich and flavorful! They also served us "homemade "Focciaca " bread with seasoned Olive Oil. For dessert, we ordered the "New York" style cheesecake with Raspberry glaze and the "Coconut Cream Cake." All of the dishes were outstanding! Our server Ashley made our evening by being warm and friendly - she made the night a memorable experience!
